Health Equity
Health equity is an aspect of all public health efforts. The focus of health equity is to ensure that marginalized or minoritized populations have the same levels of health, quality of life, and life expectancy as more privileged groups. Public health professionals who focus on health equity work to ensure that public health programs are effective and equitable in their design and reach for all communities.
